The Gunners

Rebecca Kauffman's touching novel reflects the pain of adulthood, beauty, and frustration that friendship can bring to our lives. This is a story about six friends connected by common secrets and a secret meeting place - an abandoned Gunner house, the name ogf which they took for themselves. When they were sixteen, one of the girls, Sally, suddenly slipped away and left the group of friends. Accusing each other of ruining the friendship, the Gunners split up without knowing the real reason. After Sally's death, they, men and women in their thirties, reunite. The meeting reunites the Gunners, and now they need to understand the causes of misunderstandings, find truth and forgiveness.
