Melanie, a successful realtor, is an ambitious careerist, inaccessible to men, who has a difficult relationship with her father. She has the ability to see beings from a parallel world, but denies it all the time. She is not interested in old houses that keep stories. But she had no idea that she would inherit one from a client she had only seen once. According to his will, the house on Tradd Street, complete with antiques, a dog and the ghosts of its former owners, now belongs to Melanie. However, there is an unusual condition: in order to inherit the property, a woman must restore it and live there for a year. And two men appear in the heroine's life, competing for her affection. The world is becoming more and more upside down. The tangle of past events unravels, revealing all the secrets of the house: the history of two families, love, hidden treasures, and even more, murder.
